Fair Rentals
Energy as a Service! We want everyone to have the energy to power electronics, coolers, fridges, freezers, and stages at fair with ease.
Many know the back-breaking downsides to lead batteries. Lithium offers a whole new world of energy use. Lithium phosphate cells are extremely fire-resistant — unlike other lithium chemistries, LFP cells don't release oxygen when damaged, making thermal runaway extremely unlikely. This is an important safety feature where fire danger is a real concern.
We believe energy does not always have to be owned — it can be rented. Ownership is still a great option for regular use or backup power, but our rental program is designed to make fair power easy and economical.

Reserved & Paid
Reserve your rental and pay before or at pickup to lock it in.
Pick Up
Pick up your fully charged rental the week before fair, ready to go.
Drop Off
Bring it back the week after fair and we handle the recharge and reset.
Sizing Your Energy Needs
If you have specific needs, we will work with you to build a custom setup. Come into our shop and we will assess your energy needs (amperage + hours used) to build a custom battery and inverter setup that will meet your energy usage needs.
We have tried to make an economical rental program to make it cheap and easy to have power where and when you need it.
Batteries
- We offer the ability to rent a lithium battery for the entire fair.
- These are about one-third the weight of lead batteries with much higher energy density, making setup easier.
- Charged by us the week before fair so you pick them up full.
- With Bluetooth BMS monitoring, you can track individual device loads and daily use in Ah/kWh.

The Beast
Add an Inverter Kit

Add a 1000W pure sine wave inverter and power strip to your battery rental for an easy plug-in power setup at fair.
Your battery rental already includes the box and fuse. This add-on makes it a ready-to-use battery/inverter kit.
Pickup Schedule
Batteries for fair are rented from the week before fair (Monday, July 6th 2026). Pick up fully charged anytime the week before fair.
Cost of reservations will be paid before or at time of pickup. Renters sign a waiver for damages/replacement costs.
Return Schedule
Return any fair rentals the week after fair, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to the shop at 3395 W 7th Ave #D, Eugene, OR 97402.
