Energy as a Service!
We want everyone to have the energy to be able to power the electronics, coolers, fridges, freezers, stages at fair with ease. Many know the back breaking downsides to lead batteries. Lithium offers a whole new world on energy use. Lithium phosphate cells are incombustible, which is an important feature for fair as fire danger is a big issue. Using lithium removes battery fire risk from fair site.
We at Mac's believe that energy doesn't have to be owned, it can be rented! Ownership for those who will use it on a more regular basis or as a backup energy source is awesome too.
We have tried to make an economical cost of ownership rental program to make it cheap and easy to have power where/when you need it.
Sizing your energy needs
If you have specific needs, we will work with you to build a custom setup. You can come into our shop and we will asses your energy needs (amperage + hours used) to build a custom battery and inverter setup that will meet your energy usage needs.
Batteries
- We offer the ability to rent a lithium battery for the entire fair.
- These are 1/3rd the weight of lead batteries and 3x the energy density. Easy to carry in and setup.
- Charged by us the week before fair so you pick them up full.
- By renting lithium with a bluetooth BMS (battery management system) you'll be able to track individual device loads as well as daily use in AH(KWH). This leads to the ability to "see" how much energy you use.

12V 100ah (1.25KWH) 22lbs -- $80
12V 170ah (2.6 KWH) 33lbs -- $150
12v 300ah (The beast)(3.8KWH) 57lbs- $240
Inverters
We put together battery/inverter kits. Pick your 12V battery option from above and add a 1000W pure sign wave inverter with the box and power strip for $75!
Battery box can hold 2x 100ah batteries, 1x 170ah, or 1x 300ah battery.
Pickup and Rental Schedule
Batteries for fair are rented from the week before fair (Monday the 7th of July 2025)
Pickup fully charged anytime between Monday July 7th and Fair.
Cost of reservations will be paid before or at time of pickup. We also have renters sign a waiver for damages/replacement costs
Return Schedule
Any rentals for fair folk can be returned the week after fair from Monday-Friday 9am-5pm to the shop.
