Japanese RV Upgrade
RV — Power System Upgrade
A 12V power system upgrade for a Japanese-import RV — a 300Ah Bluetooth battery, distribution bars, a safety switch, a Renogy 2000W inverter with transfer switch, a 55A LiFePO4 charger, and an AC transfer box, all fit into the coach's under-floor compartment.
Components in This Build
- 300Ah Bluetooth battery
- Distribution bars
- Safety switch
- Renogy 2000W inverter with transfer switch
- 55A LiFePO4 charger
- AC transfer box
This RV came in for a full power system upgrade, all built into the existing under-floor compartment. A 300Ah Bluetooth battery is the heart of the system, monitored remotely and distributed through a set of bus bars, with a safety switch for isolating the bank when needed.
A Renogy 2000W inverter with a built-in transfer switch handles AC output and automatically switches over when shore or generator power is available, backed by a 55A LiFePO4 charger to keep the battery topped off. An AC transfer box rounds out the system, letting the coach cleanly switch between power sources.
