DIY Portable Packout

Customer Build — Portable Power Pack

A compact, portable 12V power pack built by one of our DIY customers — a 300Ah Bluetooth LiFePO4 battery, Renogy shunt and distribution bars, a 40A charge controller, and a 2000W Renogy inverter, all packed into a rugged, grab-and-go tool case.

Portable power pack built into a rugged ToughSystem tool case with battery, monitor display, and fuse block wired together

Components in This Build

  • Renogy 300A shunt (battery monitor)
  • 12V distribution / bus bars
  • 300Ah Bluetooth LiFePO4 battery
  • 40A 12V charge controller
  • Renogy 2000W inverter

This one was built by a DIY customer, not our staff — we’re showcasing it because it’s a great example of what’s possible in a compact, portable footprint.

The build packs a full 12V power system into a single rugged, portable tool case. A 300Ah Bluetooth LiFePO4 battery is monitored through a Renogy shunt and distributed through 12V bus bars, with a 40A charge controller handling charging input and a 2000W Renogy inverter providing AC output.

The result is a self-contained, grab-and-go power pack — no permanent install required.
